MYNT3D Pen Review – Totally safe for older children
The MYNT3D Professional Printing Pen is aimed at older children. The nozzle doesn’t get as hot as an adult one does but there is still a little heat in there, so be cautious. This 3D pen for kids has speed and temperature control built in, It has an ergonomic shape designed to fit nicely between your fingers, and its super clean, slim lines allow for more intricate work than most kid based 3D pens do.

It has some great features too. This 3d pen for kids has an auto-off button so that it will switch itself off if idle for too long… a brilliant added extra for any child’s product. It is USB chargeable and has a bright OLED display to tell you the temperature and speed settings.
It also comes with a decent amount of filament refill for a good price – making this pen really good value for money. We also loved how you can change the dispensing speed on this pen, making the plastic come out faster to fill whole areas or slower for more intricate work.
The MYNT3D Professional Printing Pen is totally safe for older children, but not so great for those under 12. It does have a little heat in there but we adore the auto-off features that ensure your child never leaves it running. The temperature control is great too because you can set the temperature you are happy with them using and not need to worry about them having accidents.
Bottom line: Great value for money
This 3d pen is great value for money, and you get a lot of plastic when you buy it. It is a little noisier than some of the other 3D pens for kids out there, but it is also less bulky and has a cool design that teenagers will prefer to the majority of the younger-based models out there. This is definitely the one to buy for older children that don’t want to admit how cool it is.
This is a great ‘toy’ because it isn’t really a toy. The teenagers will love it because it looks like an adult pen, and you will love it because you know your child won’t hurt themselves with it. A 3D pen like the MYNT3D Professional Printing Pen will make them the envy of their classmates while simultaneously encouraging them to get off the computer…and we think that’s a win-win all around.
